What You’ll Need:

  • Faux flower stems

  • A pot or vase

  • Matte black spray paint

  • Hot glue gun

  • Paper bats (You can use a kit or make your own!)

  • (Optional) More hot glue for faux spider webs

Step 1: Prep Your Faux Flowers

Start by fluffing the stems of your faux flowers. Spread out the leaves and flowers for a more sparse and eerie look. You want to give the arrangement a "haunted" feel, so less is more here.

Step 2: Trim Down the Stems

If your stems are too long to fit into your chosen pot or vase, go ahead and trim them down. Make sure they're the right height to create a balanced and eye-catching display.

Step 3: Time for Some Paint

Take your faux flower stems and give them a good coat of matte black spray paint. Make sure you get all the nooks and crannies for a uniform look. Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 4: Add Your Paper Bats

Now for the fun part! Use a hot glue gun to stick paper bats onto your stems. These will look like they’re flying amidst the spooky foliage, adding an extra dash of Halloween to your centerpiece.

Step 5: Optional Spider Webs

Feeling extra crafty? Use your hot glue gun to create faux spider webs. Apply a small dot of hot glue to a stem and then drag it out slowly to form a spider web. It’s a simple addition that makes a big impact.

Final Thoughts

And there you have it! A simple yet effective Halloween centerpiece that adds a dash of the macabre to your home decor. Stay tuned for more DIYs in our 30 Days of Halloween series. Until then, happy crafting! 🎃🦇
