Updated: Sep 23, 2023

Hey there, DIY enthusiasts! Welcome back to Day 2 of our 30 Days of Halloween DIYs. Today we're brewing up something spook-tacularly sweet: Chocolate Covered Brownies. Trust me, they're so delish, even Dracula would sink his teeth into these! 🧛‍♂️

What You'll Need:

  • Your favorite brownie mix or ingredients for homemade brownies

  • Cooking spray

  • Silicone mold (I used cute little ghost and skeleton molds from Joann's)

  • Candy melts

  • Baking sheet

  • Optional: icing for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Turn up the heat to 350 degrees. 🔥

  2. Mix It Up: Prepare your favorite brownie batter. Feel free to add in some Halloween-themed sprinkles for fun! 🎃

  3. Spray Away: Lightly coat your silicone mold with cooking spray.

  4. Fill 'em Up: Pour brownie batter into the silicone mold, filling it about 3/4 full.

  5. Time to Bake: Place the mold on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. ⏲️

  6. Cool It: Let the brownies cool for about 15 minutes in the mold. No touchy!

  7. Free the Ghosts: Gently remove brownies from the mold and let them cool completely. 👻

  8. Melt Magic: Melt your candy melts in the microwave for about 30 seconds at a time. Be careful not to overheat!

  9. Candy Coat: Once the mold is cool, pour the melted candy melts to cover the entire bottom.

  10. Back They Go: Place the brownies back into the mold, gently pressing so the candy melt covers the sides too.

  11. Chill Out: Put your brownies in the fridge or freezer for about 30 minutes to let everything set. ❄️

  12. Optional: Add some icing decor for that extra Halloween flair. 🕸️

  13. Serve & Enjoy: Dig in! These are perfect for your Halloween party or just because. 🎉

That's a wrap for Day 2! Hope you love these as much as I do. Stay tuned for more eerie-sistible DIYs.
