What You'll Need:

  • Gauze fabric

  • Poly-fill

  • Clear elastics

  • Ribbon, yarn, or string

  • Hole punch

  • Black paper

  • Tacky glue or hot glue

  • Scissors

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Cut Gauze Fabric

Cut your gauze fabric into 10 squares, each measuring 8x8 inches. This is the foundation for your soon-to-be adorable ghosts.

Step 2: Stuff 'em Up

Place poly-fill in the center of one square, about the size of a golf ball. Get that ghostly head nice and plump!

Step 3: Secure it

Use a clear elastic to secure the fabric around the stuffing. This forms the cute head of your ghost.

Step 4: Make a Ghost Army

Repeat the above steps until you have a total of 10 adorable ghosts. The more, the merrier!

Step 5: Tie the Knot

Use ribbon, yarn, or string to tie bows or knots around the neck of each ghost, giving them that extra flair.

Step 6: Those Eyes Though

Punch 20 circles out of black paper using a hole punch. These will serve as the eyes for your ghost crew.

Step 7: Stick 'em On

Use tacky glue or hot glue to attach the eyes onto each ghost. Now they're ready to haunt!

Step 8: Garland Time!

Thread your string or yarn through the top of each ghost's head to create your garland. Hang it up and let the Halloween festivities begin!

And there you have it—your very own ghosty garland! If you love this project, be sure to check out the TikTok video where I show you how it's done in real-time.
